Arrival by plane
From Frankfurt International Airport there are good train connections to Heidelberg (in most cases via Mannheim). There are two train stations, one for the local trains (taking approximately 1,5 hrs to get to Heidelberg) and one for the faster ICEs (taking approximately 40 minutes to get to Heidelberg).
There is also a convenient Lufthansa airline shuttle bus to the hotel Crowne Plaza in Heidelberg. From there you can take a taxi to the meeting.
The easiest way to get to Heidelberg is via the TLS-shuttle. The shuttle can be booked on-line and requires bookings at least 4 days in advance. Arrival by train
Heidelberg can be reached by ICE, IC, and local trains. The next main traffic junction is Mannheim at a distance of only 20km. Tickets can be booked online in advance and can also be purchased at the train stations.For tickets and connections please click here.
From the main station you can take the bus or tram to the meeting venue: Please note: Bus no. 31 does not leave from the main station, but from Bismarckplatz.

It is a 5 minute walk from the bus/ tram stop "Bunsengymnasium".

Arrival by car
Heidelberg can be reached from the A656 from Mannheim or from the A5 from Frankfurt/ Karlsruhe. Coming from the A 5 chnage at "Heidelberger Kreuz" to the A656 towards Heidelberg. Turn left at the next traffic lights in the direction of Zoo / Chirurgie / Technologiepark. Turn right at the next traffic lights. After the second traffic lights, turn right.
Cross the river Neckar by turning onto the bridge. Turn left at the second traffic light. You now enter the campus of Heidelberg University. Parking spaces are available as indicated on the map.
