Confirmation

Upon receipt of the full registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration and payment. Please present this confirmation at the conference counter as proof of your pre-registration.

Cancellation of Participation

Delegates unable to attend the conference after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. If you must cancel your registration your written request must be received by 09.11, 2008, to receive a refund less 25 % administrative charge. Refunds will be made as a rule after the conference After 10.11.2008 no refund can be made for cancellations. Please address your can­cellation in writing only to the congress office.

Banquett at Prinz Carl Palais, Friday, 14 November, 20:30 h

A banquet will be organized for all participants and their accompanying persons at Prinz Carl Palais. Local food, beverages and entertainment will be provided. Price per person: 40,00 € (for undergraduates reduced 30,00 €)

Lunch Break

Mensa tokens will be sold on-site at the registration desk either for Thursday 13 Nov 08 or Friday 14 Nov 08 / both.
The token (7 Euros each) includes one meal at the MENSA-Marstall/Zeughaus in walking distance in Heidelberg/old town. The token includes free choice between the available dishes plus a wide range of fresh salads plus one beverage.

Hotel Accommodation
Hotel rooms of various categories are preliminarily blocked for the participants. Please look at the registration form.

Cancellation of Accommodation

Your Reservation is bindingly. If you cancel the booking late or No-Show and the room cannot be rented otherwise, the full costs / the cancellation fee of the selected hotel will be charged. Cancellation Fees are various and depending of the business conditions of the selected Hotel. Please address your can­cellation in writing only to the Registration office.

City of Heidelberg The conference will be held at the prestigious Old and New University of Heidelberg. Heidelberg offers not only a unique blend of river landscape, historic town and hillside castle, but also a varied cultural scene. There are more than ten museums, among them the famous Collection Prinzhorn, five theatres as well as the philharmonic hall of the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra. Heidelberg is also an excellent starting point for cultural excursions to the neigh­bouring cities of Speyer, Mannheim or Worms, boat trips along the Neckar, or visits to the wine country of the nearby Palatinate, the Odenwald Forest or the Alsace area of eastern France.

Poster Sessions

Posters should be 0.90 m wide and 1.20 m high. The title and authors should appear in bold lettering. The text and illustrations should be readable from a distance of 2 m. There will be two Poster Sessions on Thursday, Nov 13, 19:00 and Friday, Nov 14, 18:30, in which posters will be formally discussed. At least one of the authors should be present at the poster for the duration of the poster session on the designated day.


Coffee Breaks

Coffee and refreshment will be provided (free of charge for registered participants) in the adjacent rooms of the conference hall during the official coffee breaks.


Liability and Insurance

Neither the organizers nor the Old Lecture Hall or Prinz Carl Palais take any responsibility for injury or damage involving persons or property during the conference. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance.
